"I'm sure you're having good days and bad days, but once it's over it's the good days that will stick out in your memory." -- Jennifer Sing
Jen's email just in time to cheer me up. It's like up and down and up and down. I had been sick twice during the journey and it is a little depressing watching Mei and Daniel stuck in the hotel room while I am running around in the city. On the upside Mei refunded her ticket and decided to stay, it seems she had overcome the cold and fever.
Very dry weather in Tibet, I keep applying lipstick every hour or so. Now I can imagine how the Tibetan can manage not to take shower for one year. I feel I don't need to take shower too! I should have took less underwear...
Daniel and I have been visiting few monasteries so far, and have been very successful to sneak into them without paying the outrageous (well, just saving few bucks) admission fee. We noticed the local people don't need to pay at all, we both agreed to buy few Tibetan clothing to make ourselves like the local. In fact I was told I am not too far off. Just need to make my face a little more red from the sunburn :)
